zlatanika Seriously, this BM gem from Romania is as good as it gets. Vocals are great, songs are solid and well grounded with a thrash backbone and heavy metal flourishes, not the wispy whir common today. There’s plenty of atmosphere; but done in a spirited and hard rocking way. Truly golden!

mourner I don't know where all this excellent black metal albums with breathtakingly good guitar work come from. Yet, here is another one of those. Great songwriting, too. If WormGod will be able to keep their path they will for sure be worthy of being a deity. Favorite track: În vale.

Pól Ó Fearraigh Wow. Fantastic album, could be one of the AOTY for me. Brilliant variety, great melodies, solid production and some nice atmosphere towards the end

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
