H.L. MOTHERWOOD plays raw black metal with obscure synths cloaked in a misty sound. Hoarse vocals spread German lyrics. The songs vary a lot, some are mysterious and slow, my favourite "Der Stille Frühling" is more melodic, straight and fast forward. I prefer playing this atmospheric album when it's dark, then it unfolds best its black beauty. Favorite track: Der Stille Frühling.

Saffron Robe I’ve no idea why this band aren’t called Mutterwald or Mutterholz, but an album this good by any other name would sound just as sweet!

bmurator Brazilian Atmospheric Black Metal. Sung in German & with some great atmospheres. The vocals are extremely interesting & unusual - they are slightly raw & this adds a whole new layer to everything! I am loving it & will dig ino their discography. Highly recommended!!! Favorite track: Mein Weg ist Frei.
