This song tells the story of how I awoke the serpent deep inside of myself and removed the brainwashing that was put in place by the church and the culture I was in. Culture isn't always your friend. Sometimes it can prevent people from expressing themselves. This song is for those people who have held back parts of themselves due to fear of community backlash. My hope is that someone will hear this song and they may begin to question the culture around them.
